And for the fourth time, Sri Lankan Team won Asia Cup in year 2008.
For the fifth time, Sri Lankan Team won Asia Cup in 2014.
For the Sixth time, Sri Lankan Team won Asia Cup in 2022 from Pakistan Team by winning final match against Pakistan in the Capitancy of Babar Azam.
Initially,Sri Lanka team was in trouble.
Sri Lanka was batting first.
Format of Asia Cup 2022 was T20.
They lost 4-5 wickets initially but then 1 pair of Batsman stood at pitch and they played very well against dangerous Pakistani Bowlers.
In fact,they a fair target against to win the Final.
Pakistan bat second.Pakistan team tried hard but they were not able to win the Final match against Sri Lanka.
Sri Lanka team was young and had not as much experience as Pakistan team had.
Still Pakistan lost final and Sri Lanka became Champion for the Sixth time in the history of Asia Cup.

This Asia Cup format is of One Day International type.
It Includes 6 Teams who are divided into two groups i.e
GROUP A includes:
Pakistan
India
And Nepal.
Nepal has qualified for the first time.
GROUP B includes:
Bangladesh
Sri Lanka
Afghanistan.
All theses teams will play group Stage out of each group 2 teams will qualify for Super 4.
Then from Super 4 , only two teams will qualify for Final.
Last Asia Cup Final was played between Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Total 13 matches will be played in this Asia Cup.
Out of which 4 matches will be played in Pakistan and remaining 9 matches will be held in Sri Lanka.
India will play all of its matches in Sri Lanka.
India will play its Second of Asia Cup 2023 on September 4th in Kandy, City of Sri Lanka and India will play its first match of Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan in Kandy city of Sri Lanka on 2 September.
