CAREER DURATION::

He has represented Pakistan in 1997 in a Test match.
After this match,he played his first One Day International Cricket match three months later.
His duration in International Cricket is from 1997 to 2011.
He had undergone knee injury before World Cup 2011.
But despite that he played that World Cup for Pakistan.
Pakistan had lost Semi-Final from India.
And India became Champion.

This was the last World Cup for
Shoaib Akhtar from Pakistan Team

Sachin Tendulkar from Team India.
